Why this business was started

I sold several of the pair of sunglasses in a small store post pandemic; it was quite lucrative as a side business that didn't take up much of my time at all. The store, unfortunately closed down and I decided to expand the products and start a store on Shopify.

The reason of selling this business

I don't have the time or personality to regularly engage with social media as this type of product line requires. I greatly enjoyed making the website, and finding products that have GREAT reviews and low cost to the owner. I am more a behind the scenes person who enjoys the preparation and maintenance vs the marketing of the company once it's [REDACTED] as the owner, I cannot separate duties, so I must sell.

What's involved in running this business

The new owner should be keeping up with social media engagement, investing in marketing ads and campaigns. I believe the products are eye-catching and if you spend the money to see where your "sweet spot" is, the sales of a few items will be quite profitable.

How to grow this business

The small amount of visibility I received was great considering I didn't spend much money on ads. The small campaign on Snapchat increased traffic by 4x in 5 days. A budgeted expense for social media ads will create a high volume of traffic, given the curiosity of shoppers.
