Why this business was started
I am a marketing major at the University of Florida. When I finished my spring semester this past May, I was faced with the choice of taking on a corporate internship or using the skills I'd been learning in school and reading about on my free time (through books like the Lean Startup and 4 Hour Workweek) to generate the location-neutral income that I'd always wanted. I put up a few websites, using my design skills to create advertisements that I would place on Facebook's platform to generate traffic on the website and analyze what led people to convert, which led me to this project and several others I am currently working on.
The reason of selling this business
As I said before, I see a ton of untapped potential in this store. The only revenue stream that has been tapped into is paid advertisements through social media. That leaves Google Ads, Influencer Marketing, and Organic traffic all untapped. I am not passionate enough about the Women's Fashion and Accessory industry to be confident in my success if I were to truly dive in, and for that reason I have decided to sell the business so that I can focus my time and efforts on growing my other businesses.
What's involved in running this business
Daily tasks associated with running this business include managing a team of employees that fulfills orders and answers customer emails, as well as managing social media advertisements. All in all it takes about an hour to two hours at most per day, which can be lowered if you implement certain guidelines for your team of assistants to follow. If you wish to grow the brand, the team would need to grow to include a graphic designer, photographer and a team of ambassadors to advertise the products themselves, but if you wish to continue running the business as I am currently you may do so with less than 2 hours per day.

How to grow this business
To grow this store over the next 5 years, I would focus on three key aspects: 1. Community. I would place great emphasis on growing the brand's social media presence and making it a reflection of the brand, which is something I haven't had time to truly dedicate myself to. Having a strong social presence will help increase organic traffic and sales and will add a lot of legitimacy to the brand. Influencer marketing, photoshoots with models, and cross marketing with other brands are all elements that will contribute to the brand's success. 2. Variety. Continuing to add new products, designs, and collections to what we already offer in order to grow customer retention rates is crucial to the brand's success. 3. Quality. Continuing to work with our suppliers to source better quality pieces that leave our customers ever-more pleased will also help the brand grow into its potential.
