General description

Hi, welcome to the listing. Vypex was started in 2015 as a gym clothing brand by a full-time University student. Long story short, the brand has since slowly moved away from this, now tailoring it's offering towards "active streetwear". I am looking to sell the business as I am entering teaching this year and simply will not have the time to continue with the business. It's been a great secondary income generator for me but there's simply not enough hours in a day for me to juggle both. I can provide you with numerous supplier relationships, customer databases, ideas, social media pages, trademarks and existing stock. Humungous potential, I just don't have the time to unlock it. I'm a 23 year old Computer Science teacher with a mortgage and bills to pay. This secondary income has slowed down for me as there's not enough hours in the day to juggle it all! VALUATION INCLUDES EVERYTHING FROM TRADEMARK TO PRODUCT INVENTORY, THE SHIPPING OF INVENTORY AND ALL OTHER MARKETING MATERIALS (PRINTED) THAT WE HAVE. The infrastructure is here - it's up to you to unlock it and make it happen now. *****HAPPY TO NEGOTIATE***** Over $9k in revenue in the last 12 months - 5 months were below $200 USD sales (again, didn't have the time to manage it). Just shows how much this business can make per month if you dedicate the time to it!

Why should someone buy this store?

Someone should take Vypex to the next level. I just don't have the time to do this and wish to focus on my teaching career. The brand has advocates worldwide and an affiliate programme with over 4,500 registered affiliates. Imagine if you launched a product and got 1% of them to purchase. That's 45 x the average price of a t-shirt (e.g. £20). That's £900 in instant sales. I also own the UK trademark and it's registered for another 7 or so years. I have full documentation I can provide or you can even search it manually. Current inventory at cost price is approximately £6000 - £7500. Stock is a load of hoodies, t-shirts, vests, sports bras and leggings. We spent months developing and perfecting material blends and size charts with for our existing products - this supplier also works with MOQs as low as 20, which is a deal we have negotiated and is almost unheard of in the industry of clothing. The sales is based on the fact that I only spend a few hours a day on the business. The value comes from supplier relationships and infrastructure, relationships with influencers, the affiliate program that has 4,500 customers registered to it. Also in the value is the social media following and mail chimp lists. That's 10,000 customers there, plus social media equals a ton of potential customers. You need to spend the time unlocking that potential - I can't do it as I don't have the time (sure you read in my listing that I'm now a teacher which is extremely time consuming). Finally that comes in is the trademark, registered in the UK. This means that you would own full rights to the word string 'Vypex' and that no-one can use this for commercial purposes without your consent. I can also sell you ALL of the photos from every photoshoot we have ever undertaken. Everything I have, I can give to you, and I will help you after the sale to build and get the best out of the money you have paid for the business, I promise that. Also included in a good offer will be the price of shipping the inventory to you. We also have our own custom postage bags and marketing inserts which you can have too. Literally everything we have will be passed on to you, and then it's up to you what you want to do with that.

How can the future owner improve the business?

Keep building the affiliate program through FB ads, keep in touch with customers through email, stay engaged on social media with high quality images and with influencers, i.e. celebrities (I can also provide you with their contact details and essentially transfer the relationships), even if they are represented by a PR company or agent.

What work have you put into the store?

I have worked 10-14 hours tirelessly every day building the brand. Thousands of pounds and time has been invested. Now looking to sell up and focus on my teaching career, which is what I've wanted to do since I was a child. Happy to provide all the aftersales care possible and advice going forward.
