I purchased it off of Marketplace myself back in February, as a starting point to begin to understand the world of e-commerce. This store was and still is a great starting point for those interested in getting their feet wet!

The reason of selling this business

I work for a tech company that has been taking up more and more time as of late - I want to begin creating a new website and possibly my own product, and would like to focus my free-time on that! This store was perfect for a starter store to allow me to "learn by doing."

Other details about profit: BEP of $50 with marketing efforts. Most orders/profit/revenue occurred when I was heavily marketing and working on a lot of the facebook advertising. I've taken a big step back, most specifically in June and July, and have stopped all advertisements here in August/September. This company could soar with the right focus.

My advice for the next individual taking over the store would be to establish a solid relationship with a supplier (my current supplier or one of your choosing) to make things much easier/cleaner. I ran into a few issues switching between some, and am happy to provide insight into how to do this piece.

    How to grow this business

    There are plenty of ways this store can grow over not just the next five years, but over a period of months! I solely advertised one product on Facebook/Instagram, and the owner could take this to the next level by going cross platforms (google being one great place in mind), and my beginning to advertise more products. There are also a few email marketing campaigns that I never had the chance to try, but feel that could be a very great way to identify new customers.

    Skills to have

    I barely knew anything - if you're hoping to learn, this is a great shop to do it with! Skills with Oberlo, Shopify, Aliexpress, and Facebook will allow you to hit the ground running, but the basics can be learned quickly if not.
