Business Story
Why this business was started
I originally started WasteLessGreen in August of 2019, but only really launched it in June 2021. Dropshipping is a good way to start a business with limited upfront costs. The niche was important to my wife and I and we used many of the products we listed already. Running my own business has always been a dream, because you can heavily influence the amount of money you make and are accountable for your own success. Shopify is a very easy to use business platform and dropshipping significantly limits your financial risk because you don't need to buy large amounts of inventory upfront.
The reason of selling this business
I have limited time to focus on a business right now with family and home commitments. This is my second store and I am finding the workload too much. I stopped advertising for this store several months ago and had planned to start working on it again this winter, but now I would rather see it in the hands of someone who can really build it. I don't have the social media skills to really build it up, but if someone does, they could build a community around the brand and really reduce their costs for paid advertising.
What's involved in running this business
Advertising via Facebook and other channels is really required to drive a lot of traffic. If you are very good with social media, I think there is HUGE potential with free traffic from Instagram. Within the business itself, customers place orders on the site and you can fill them with a few clicks in the Oberlo app. Items are shipped directly from the supplier in China to your customer, meaning that you do not need to carry inventory. Overall, the upfront investment is fairly light. I purchased advertising videos and media from freelancers, but if you have video editing skills, you could save these costs and potentially do a job that better fits your brand vision. If you decide to purchase it, you can quickly start running ads again (I'll include all I have). The products are already set up and the supplier relationships are already established. Oberlo has a really good free course on how to run the business.

Not IncludedLogo and branding assets
I can include these via email to the successful purchaser. I have several packages for the page, social media, email, etc. I had them professionally made and I will transfer these assets to the purchaser. This store also comes with the paid premium theme "Impluse", which is a beautiful and fast theme. This costs around $300 USD itself.Personal support after sale
I would be happy to provide up to 2 weeks of support (longer if required) to help the buyer be successful. Emails, phone calls, text messages, Zoom. I really want this store to be successful. I am emotionally attached to its success and I want to see it in the hands of someone who can make that happen.Domain
Product photos
I will provide any videos and photos not included automatically from the supplier. I will also include all of the ad and product videos I've had made as well as any product gifs. I've paid freelancers several hundred dollars for these ads which should give the buyer a good starting point.Suppliers
I have built solid supplier relationships for the key products, and these relationships can be carried over to the new owner. The store is already linked to automatically order from these suppliers, and I can give background information into the relationships we've built over the support phase.Mailing List

Seller‘s Advice
How to grow this business
WasteLessGreen is focused on products that are reusable and replace commonly disposed of items. This niche is growing quickly with more and more emphasis being placed on climate change and sustainability. To keep growing this business, I would focus on finding innovative products in this niche and really being active on social media. Climate change and sustainability are become emotionally important to a lot of people and building a community on social media around your brand will ensure that people will trust and buy from you. If you are passionate about the niche and have strong social media skills, you will likely be able to tap into a large amount of loyal customers.
Skills to have
This is a Dropshipping business with Oberlo automation. The suppliers are already set up for the existing products so it is quite turn key as far as new businesses go. With any business though, you will need to fill orders (Oberlo makes it easy), build supplier relationships, negotiate supply costs, respond to customer inquiries, track orders, account for profit, run advertising, and buy or make videos. Someone with good photo and video editing skills could make some really compelling videos of the products. The goal is to make it easy for people to change from disposable to reusable products.
