I felt the travel industry was a good niche and found this store on exchange, it as just a start up store when I purchased it and I was able to grow it with minimal ads or marketing on my own. I will probably start another business in a different niche now that I have the experience running this one. It's not hard to run I just don't have the time.
The reason of selling this business
I decided to sell it because I don't have the time to properly run it and it really is a good niche. I think whoever buys it would have a good headstart to get rolling especially with Holidays approaching. The back end work and set up is completed, it is now just a matter of changing the payment directions.

The customer places the order, Shopify notifies you or you check periodically on the mobile app. You then go in and place the order with the supplier to drop ship the merchandise directly to the customer. The package is tracked and once it arrives to the customer the payment is usually deposited in your account.

How to grow this business
I never ran Facebook or Instagram Ads and that would definitely push traffic to the store. Most of the traffic is from EBay or Organic from web searches. It would not take much to make it profitable with a marketing plan. I also never used the email list.
Skills to have
I think a good eye for travel related gadgets, products and trends would be helpful. That would allow you to identify winning products early in the cycle and begin promoting them.
