Why this business was started
I created the business in 2013 and started building the concept around wine to get an E2 visa. I moved from France to the US and launched the website on January 2016 when I obtained said working visa and in parallel I started providing with wine education. I started the FBA with Amazon to dedicate more time to the wine education and consulting, however the website can work well if one spend proper time in the right marketing and fine tuning the shipping service.
The reason of selling this business
Other opportunities came along and for family health issues I had to move out of the US. I let the site dormant for some time, in October 2018 a friend in Miami offered to handle the shipping so I re-opened but now this person has a full time job so barely time to manage the e-commerce.

Winestoree is an online store owned by Odile Charny under a Limited Liability Company located in Miami Florida (now inactive). I opened the business in Q4 2015 but have been planning and working on the concept and website since 2013 while I was in France, at the very start-up phase. Visits are also organic as we distributed logo-ed wine glasses in festivals, published ads on Miami magazines like Indulge and Palette (bundle), CBS4News, mostly Pinterest, Facebook and Instagram drive organic visitors.
Why should someone buy this store?
The online store's style is classy, sells accessories for wine lovers. Even if it talks to both female and male wine lovers looking for for accessories, wine decor and wine events. The site just needs to make some tweaks to make it profitable and the dropshipping of True, Pulltex, Atelier du Vin, Torchons & Bouchons, etc. The inventory is properly stored in Miami and all the rest was sold through Amazon FBA.
How can the future owner improve the business?
Like any business it took 2 years to get consistent visits and organic visitors. Ranking is good but there is room to make improvements in what the SEO and photos is concerned.
What work have you put into the store?
The work put in store is listed as follows: A blog, SEO improvements, linking analytics, linking every picture on Pinterest to the website and other social media, constantly working on proper product images are the linen's supplier in France. The linen's distributor in Miami recently closed doors in February 2020 due to E2 Visa changes by the Trump administration. The wine posters (varietals, colors and aromas), are available with the manufacturer directly from France. Easy to ship. All the supplies: tubes for shipping posters, logo-ed bags and silk paper are included in the website's sales price. I can give training and help for 3-6 months to hand over.
