Why this business was started

Zooomberg as the word signifies something Large. Zooom + Berg, was started out of my passion for computers and entrepreneurship and to enter the world of booming e-commerce. We started with high end make up brands and moved into fashion and apparel and scaled the business to as high as 800+ orders in a single day on Flash Sale days, with regular daily orders being 100+ on non sale days.

The reason of selling this business

Fashion industry has become too competitive after the entrant of Chinese e-commerce players in India. It needs a lot more skill, effort, team and capital to be competitive. I have other family business's which need to be taken care of and needs my support. Therefore it is better to hand over a well built brand to someone who can take care of it with as much passion and dearness as I have.

    How to grow this business

    The next 5 years can be growing our customer base and followers, and also of inventory building and providing a larger variety of products and improving the delivery times. Also diversifying into other segments such as the quirky and fun products, and gifiting products. Also any other products for which the target market is Women from age 17 to 35, as we have built the brand around this base. To also expand to international markets, and build a stronger dropship model to expand the product lines.

    Delivery Time is of utmost importance. A quicker delivery time will take the brand to the next level. We have built great digital assets in the form of Facebook pixels as we have spent a lot on digital marketing since 2014.
